WAITING FOR THE 3rd WCB IN WIEN (AUSTRIA) 29-30 May

OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF THE COMP

This third WCB event will be crucial for top class athletes..
although in the female field the battle is among Noguchi and Stohr, nothing is decided
for the men, where we have 4 climbers in only 12 points (click here to see the WCB ranking).

WCB HALL (Austria) 1-2 May 2009

Unlike the first event in the faraway Japan, here all the best boulderers in the world are ready to give battle, both men and women.
In the men's field, great revange for top climbers Fishhuber (1st) and Moroni (2nd) coming back with a vengeance after the bad Japan trip.
Eyes fixed on the debut of wonderkid Adam Ondra, who doesn't
disappointed the crowd with a brillant and all impressive 3rd place.

Still too early to bet who's going to win the 2009 WCB, but the next event should give us a little more information to guess. It's quite incredible how difficult it is to be consistently in the first places at every event in bouldering, the competitor's minds have to stay so focused, it's absolutely crucial. It's all in the mind?

A few surprises and unexpected results in the men's field, as the victory of the experienced french Julian and the second place of the local Muraoka.
Tighter results in the women's comp with the first place for the young and talented Noguchi.
